..... Freunde treffen - Gott begegnen - Leben finden .....

Welcome to "Kirche im Walzwerk, Pulheim"!!!

We are a church that is seeking to live our lives the way God intended.

We are a church where people matter, where we seek to meet friends.
We are a church where God matters, where we seek to meet God.
We are a church where life matters, where we seek to let people know the one who is able to give eternal life - JESUS.

Church statement

Church is more than just a building or a service. The Bible tells us that the church is made up of those who are followers of Jesus Christ. We are joined together in the family of God, available to serve God and one another. Our aim is to reach out to a needy world in practical ways and proclaim eternal salvation through Jesus. The church service is one place where we can worship God in joy and freedom.

Who we are

We are a small evangelical church that belongs to the German Baptist Union and is part of the NF (NewFrontiers) network of churches. Nobody is born into our church. It is not up to the parents to decide whether their children will be Christians or not. Everyone must decide for himself to follow Jesus and be baptised. We only baptise people who believe in Jesus Christ - by full immersion as it was done in the early church. The bible not only tells us about the Good News that Jesus died as a sacrifice for our sins, giving the gift of eternal life to all who would believe in him. It is also the foundation of our faith and a guide for our lives.

Church Life

Community with other believers is essential for a life as a Christian. So we not only meet on Sunday mornings for a church service but also during the week in people's homes, for friendship and to share our faith with one another. We have a group for 8 to 12 year olds, a group for 12 to 16 year olds and a youth group. Also there are Alpha courses running twice a year.
